EU AI Act · Article 4 · enforcement from 3 August 2026

Is your workforce AI-literate? The EU already requires it.

Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires every provider and deployer of AI systems to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy of their staff. It applies to any company using AI in the EU, whatever the risk tier. From 3 August 2026, national market surveillance authorities can enforce it.

What we do

From legal obligation to workforce capability.

The regulation does not prescribe a training format or a certificate. It asks you to demonstrate that your people use AI competently, in your context. That is a training design problem, and it is our job.

Step 1

Readiness assessment

We map where AI is actually used in your organisation, by whom and with what risk, then measure current literacy against the roles. You get a gap report and a training plan.

Step 2

Role-based training

General AI literacy for all staff, deeper modules for people operating or overseeing AI systems, executive sessions for decision makers. Online, live or asynchronous, in English.

Step 3

Compliance evidence

Attendance, content and assessment records structured as documentation you can show a regulator or an auditor, plus a yearly refresh cycle as tools and rules evolve.

The rules, at the source

Article 4 applies since 2 February 2025; supervision and enforcement rules apply from 3 August 2026, under national market surveillance authorities. The European Commission has confirmed there is no mandated format or certification: adequacy is judged on your staff, your systems and your context.
